Guess what?! Today we went back to visit our design task question, "What is the Past?" The students took us in the direction of becoming a time traveller to see what the past would look like first hand. We decided to design "time machines" to take us to the past. We also discussed what TOOLS we would need to be a time traveler and what CHARACTERISTICS of our personality would help us travel in the past. (i.e. being curious, excited, brave, strong, etc.) Well, we are finally ready for our first trip!!! On Monday, we will be traveling back to the year 1860, to visit a Fur Traders Settlement and a First Nations Encampment. (aka. Heritage Park!) Please bring: - your outdoor shoes or good walking shoes - warm clothes - jacket, hat, mitts - water bottle - lunch and snacks - your curiosity and enthusiasm!
