It's PINK SHIRT day today! Prince of Wales students learned why/where Pink Shirt Day started, what bullying is, and what to do to take a STAND against bullying! We enjoyed an amazing assembly hosted by Grade 4. Great Job Grade 4! FYI Poetry Party is Friday - please make sure all red folders are returned asap. All calendars from now on will be available online only, we will not be sending home hard copies. Our Learning: Today we went into gym and Ms. Konno's class was here. It was fun and we played dance mirror. Caden In the Idea Lab we made some devices or we started some and it's going really good for everybody. Brock Today we had buddies and we practiced our song and I had really fun! Our Learning "I liked the Black Gold Tapestry that told the story of oil."-Ben "It was cool seeing the embroidery."-Ryder "We learned about Cyclone- a horse made from wire. It was cool because it was made out of wires. Cyclone is very strong."-Lucy "I thought it was cool making our own stories."-Evelyn "It was my first time at Glenbow and it was interesting."-Sammy "It was super interesting at the African exhibit and super fun."-Hashim "Tom Threeperson was the 130th rider at the Stampede and rode on Cyclone. He won 5000 dollars."-Brock "I drew a picture of the horse Cyclone."-Noelle "It was cool because we got to see a horse with a knight with full armor."-Finn "At the Glenbow my favorite part was the area with the castle."-River "It was pretty cool to learn about cyclone, and how he was made of barbwire. He was found in the wild and became a bucking bronco."-Jillian "It was cool to learn about the South Africans, and about the goddess Nymba - she made all the plants grow.
